When losing a loved one, sometimes we focus on the pain and their physical absence. That's normal, is part of the process. I invite you to take a moment and think about the ways you can honor your lost loved ones. Think about the ways you can celebrate their life and honor their memory.
When I lost my grandfather, writing a letter and later this short story, gave me the opportunity to express my feelings. A way to say things that I felt were not said. If you feel like you need to say something to your lost loved one, you may write a letter. Remember, if feelings and emotions are too strong, ask for help.
Take the time to appreciate those who supported through your grieving process. I believe that gratitude and appreciation bring joy to our life.
